Yahtec, an industrial SME that was looking for a robot for its own needs, ended up developing its own machine, which it now markets with a rental option.
It's called Forx and could be one of the stars of the International Transport and Logistics Exhibition (SITL) opening on Tuesday in Paris. However, it has the ordinary appearance of a stacker, those machines that allow lifting and transporting pallets with a remote control. There's one big difference, though: Forx is a robot. It's capable of performing these tasks on its own, moving at 4 km/h, with a load weighing over a ton that it can lift to over 2 meters in height.
