How robots are transforming the forklift driver profession.

In an environment where recruitment is challenging, some companies are turning to robots to handle the repetitive, low-value tasks traditionally done by forklift drivers. This is the case for the SME Yahtec, located in Meaux (Seine-et-Marne).

"Our work quality has improved," says Serge Mamodaly, 51, a forklift driver at Yahtec for about fifteen years. "Before, I was only doing cart transportation. Since the arrival of robots, it now only represents 30% of my time."
