Enhanced perception with the integration of 3D cameras.

Already equipped with seven LiDAR sensors, the FORX autonomous stacker now gains enhanced detection capabilities with the addition of two new 3D cameras. These sensors provide depth vision of up to 10 metres, enabling more accurate pallet detection and improved obstacle recognition, including objects positioned high or very low, such as forks left on the floor. Rather than replacing the LiDAR sensors, these cameras complement them, improving safety and operational fluidity in complex industrial environments. ‘This evolution comes from field experience, not from the laboratory,’ summarises Yves Cazard, CEO of FORX.
