Faced with a persistent shortage of industrial labour and a relative lag in robotics adoption, French industry is now confronted with a major challenge: further automating its processes to preserve its competitiveness. Across many sectors — including manufacturing, logistics and the food industry — companies are struggling to recruit for physically demanding, repetitive or low value-added tasks. In this context, robotics is increasingly seen as a pragmatic response to economic and organisational constraints.
With around 186 robots per 10,000 employees, France still lags behind other major industrial powers, highlighting the need for accessible solutions that enable companies to automate certain operations while remaining compatible with the investment capacity of SMEs and mid-sized companies.
